March 2018 (Bolivar County) – Defendant in Cleveland’s Double Homicide receives Life Sentence

Dbryus Story was convicted under a four-count indictment of Capital Murder of Tavoris Marshall, Capital Murder of Kevion Gorman, conspiracy to commit robbery and kidnapping in December 2016. Tavoris Marshall and Kevion Gorman were found shot to death on Martin Luther King Drive in Cleveland, Mississippi.  In December of 2013, Officers arrested Dbryus Story and three others after finding Gorman and Marshall. Story was sentenced to Life on both counts of Capital Murder, 5 years for the conspiracy count and 20 years for the kidnapping. Co-defendant Jayvious Johnson was tried under all four counts of the indictment and sentenced to Life in prison prior to Story’s trial. Co-defendants JaMario Hodges and Fabian Vaughn were charged with Accessory After the Fact and sentenced to 5 years.
