On June 30, 2010, Vadell Johnson shot 28-year-old Scotty Tutwiler and two others outside the Fermier’s Sports Bar and Grill. Tutwiler later died at a hospital in Memphis while the others recovered. Johnson was sentenced to life for one count of murder, ten years for aggravated assault on Damien Story, and one year for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, the sentences will run concurrently with the life sentence.
