PRE TRIAL DIVERSION
The Pretrial Intervention Program, also known as the Pretrial Diversion Program, was designed to offer first-time nonviolent offenders a second chance. In the interest of justice and to better serve the victims of the community, individuals who have been indicted by a Grand Jury may be accepted into the Pretrial Intervention Program. For the duration of the program, the Defendant must report monthly to the Intervention Officer and pay all fees incurred from the offense committed (restitution to the victim, court cost and any fines). Certain restrictions apply as to whether one qualifies for the program, including the type of offense committed. For more information on the program, please contact our office. If you are a defendant, please consult with your lawyer.
