District Attorney Brenda F. Mitchell announced that Marquis Stevenson was found guilty of the 2014 death of Marvion Leflore. On December 13, 2014, the Clarksdale Police Department responded to the 800 block of Cherry Street where they learned Marvion Leflore had been shot while outside raking leaves in the yard. The investigation led to Marquis Stevenson being identified as the suspect in the case. The jury found Marquis Stevenson guilty of First Degree Murder. He was sentenced to Life in Prison.
