District Attorney Brenda F. Mitchell announced that Justin Booker was found guilty of the 2013 death of Davis Goon. Clarksdale Police arrested Justin Booker and two others after 61-year-old Goon was shot outside his family’s store in Clarksdale. The three attempted to rob the store and Goon was shot and killed in the process. Booker was sentenced to Life with the possibility of parole. The co-defendants will stand trial at a later date.
