District Attorney Brenda F. Mitchell announced that the shooter that opened fire in the parking lot of Walmart, in Clarksdale, two days before Christmas in 2014 is behind bars. Christian Allen, who is also known as Trey Pulley, shot and killed 26 year-old Brandon Smith in the Walmart parking lot after Smith attempted to squash an argument between Allen and other individuals. Smith was killed and two other individuals were injured. Allen was sentenced to Life on the Murder count and additional time for the two Aggravated Assault counts.
