A. Leslie Flint

Leslie Flint received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Sociology and a minor in English from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi in 1995. She graduated cum laude and with honors. She then attended the University of Mississippi School of Law and received her Juris Doctorate degree in 1998. In that same year, Leslie became a member of the Mississippi Bar. From 1998 to 2000, she served as a law clerk and staff attorney to the late Senior Circuit Court Judge Elzy Smith of the Eleventh Circuit Court District. She briefly engaged in private practice in the area of insurance defense as an associate attorney at Copeland, Cook, Taylor and Bush in Ridgeland from 2000-2001. She returned to the Mississippi Delta and began her work with the Office of the District Attorney of the Eleventh Circuit Court District in 2001.  
 
While in her position with the District Attorney’s office, Leslie received training in the area of forensic child interviews. She also attended the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) course and the certification training for that course. 
 
It is with deep respect and heartfelt gratitude that we bid farewell to an extraordinary colleague, Leslie Flint. She not only demonstrated a mastery of briefs and motions but also became an expert in cross-examining some of the toughest days with wit and light-hearted humor.
 
In a place where we often feel like family, Leslie embodied dedication, professionalism, and kindness. As we celebrate her journey with us, we also recognize that this isn’t truly goodbye. The bonds we’ve shared, the lessons learned, and the memories made will remain with us always. We are proud to have had the privilege of working alongside you, Leslie!
 
Thank you for your 23 years of service, your leadership, your friendship, and your lasting impact on this office and each of us. We wish you all the best in the next chapter of your career. You will always be part of our family.
